This is a super jacket it fits true to size, far superior to Under Armour, it's very warm by itself and great for layering, plenty of room for maneuvering while working it fits great, large hood I love it

this product is poorly advertised. It states that it a heavyweight, this is not a heavy weight jacket but a light weight jacket. My husband was very disappointed with the jacket and so it was retuned.

I am a big guy 6'3" 340lbs. I was worried about the fit, length /width, so I ordered the 3xl tall. I am incredibly satisfied with this product the fit is perfect, plenty of room and great length to cover the plummers crack. Carhartt is the best quality clothing company I have ever come across. The rain defender works very well, I spent a half hour in the rain the day I got it and it kept me warm and dry. It has a great lined hood that doesn't restrict mobility and keeps the melon toasty. I recommend this hoodie to everyone. GREAT JOB CARHARTT!

Really happy with the purchase. 5'11" 170lbs. and a small fits me perfectly. Washed it a couple times and it hasn't shrunk which was my biggest fear as there isn't much room left. Sweatshirt is comfortable, warm and does a decent job of shielding the wind. Only complaint is the wrist cuffs are tight around my wrists... like, really tight. The hairs on my arms are sore after wearing the sweatshirt and any attempt to stretch out the cuffs hasn't worked (which shows how durable the elastic is). Next time I purchase, I might consider a medium to see if there is more room in the cuffs.

Loved this hoody but was very disappointed when the medium almost reached my knees....returned for small, hope it's still not too big. Don't know why carhartt changed their sizing, use to be perfect fit before.
