I have two Paxton pullover hoodies, one dark green and the other navy blue, and I absolutely love them. I normally don't get excited about clothes, but these sweatshirts are worth getting excited about! The quality, thickness, warmth, comfort, and attention to detail are second to none. Take the three-piece jersey-lined hood, for example. It's rounded shape fits my head closely and the jersey lining looks nice and does not leave lint in my hair. I have a buzz cut and lint clings to it like Velcro. I also noticed that the drawstring is sewn into the hood to prevent it from coming out or becoming uneven. If you look inside the edge of the hood where the drawstring passes through it, you will see a spot of stitching right in the center. The corners of the pocket have heavy stitching to prevent the pocket from coming loose; this happened to one of my old hoodies. The entire sweatshirt is triple-stitched on every seam. The Rain Defender fabric treatment really sheds water, yet it does not affect the texture of the fabric. It feels like a normal heavyweight cotton sweatshirt; thick, soft, and dense. The Paxton hoodie may seem overly expensive, but when you look at all the details I just mentioned and think about the value they add to the product by increasing its usefulness and durability, the price is more than justified. I'll take substance over style any day, but I really like the style of the Paxton hoodie; plain and simple, no fancy logos or patterns, just a small Carhartt tag on the corner of the pocket. I never wore hooded sweatshirts when I was a kid, but now I have come to appreciate how useful, practical, comfortable, and stylish they really are. I love my Paxton hoodies and will be buying more in different colors when my local retailer has more in stock. Well done, Carhartt! I work on a surface mine in colorado, it's not as warms as I thought it would it and the hood is really small. but good sweater.

The first time I put this sweatshirt on, I was impressed by the fit. After washing it, I was impressed by the comfort. By the end of winter, when I put this sweatshirt on, I feel like I am wrapped in a level of comfort and warmth like you get when you are hanging out with your best friend. If I could, I'd wear this everywhere.
