Working in the south weather changes fast. I like it's warm ,but not over bearing, comfortable enough to wear for a 12 hour patrol shift. I have other brands of these types of hats, but they are out and I will be purchasing more to have for backups

I bought a couple of these for those cold (but not too cold desert winters). I like the sigle layer. More comfortable than most knit hats I have. Very basic but a great value.

This knit hat is among the best I've worn. It is snug where is needs to be to prevent blowing off in the strong winds, and with plenty of room up top. Good fit and durable.

I have a drawer full of knit caps, easily 1/2 doz are carhartt. I have been wearing this one for several yrs, no holes, tears or signs of wear other than the navy blue has faded from the sun. It's thinner and cooler than the A18 and much less bulky. I pull my down over my ears right down to the top of my sunglasses for that cholo/biker look. Chicks dig it. This person is part of our Field Testing program and may have received this product for free. We operate one of the most rigorous field testing programs in the business.

I've been working out doors for several years, and wouldn't venture into the cold Michigan winters without my Carhartt's. This hat will be a nice addition to my collection.
