How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

measure women's pants

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Hip/Seat:

Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Inseam:

Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You may also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat and smooth out. Measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length.

Nice, comfortable, not durable.
I work in a power plant, 7 days on/off rotating nights and days. My time is split between a control room and outside operator duties as a supervisor. I split 2 pair up between the 7 day/night period after which both pair are washed. I'm going to guess each pair of pants saw about 1,000-1,100 hours (2,000-2,000 total hours for both pair) of use and about 22-26 washings before first indications of failure at about 10 months on both pairs. Bought 2 pair of these FRB13(11.75oz cotton denim) last March to replace 2 pair of FRB159 (8.5oz cotton canvas blend) after wearing those pairs out in the inner thigh/crotch after 11 months of use, expected these to last longer but they didn't. Worn and about to go in the same inner thigh/crotch area again after 10 months of use. The rest of the pant is holding up very well, and my body shape may be to blame for where they are failing, but I expected better. These were not too heavy for summers in Nevada and worked well with thermals in the winter. The pants were very comfortable for their life, and the pockets work well for carrying phones, knives, tools, etc. I will be upgrading to FRB229 and going a size larger, hopefully they last longer.

Top Quality
Carhartt as always is top quality and lasts longer than all others. I still have a pair of jeans that I have worn for work since 2004.

Great Purchase
I have to wear these jeans at work. They fit well and are light weight. They are the most popular jean where I work.

FR Pants
The FR Pants I just purchased are very comfortable. The fit is a little bigger than the regular pants in the length-maybe just the pair I received.
