I recently bought two of these sweatshirts, one in charcoal heather and one in navy blue, and I really like them a lot. They fit perfectly and are warm and soft. They did not shrink or fade after I washed them. The three-piece hood fits my head well and has a nice rounded shape, unlike a cheap hoodie that comes to a point on top. My only complaint is that the hood is not lined and leaves lint in my hair. I have a tight buzz cut and lint sticks to it like Velcro. Another reviewer also commented about lint sticking to his shaved head. A few launderings should minimize that problem. Also, on the gray sweatshirt, the fabric is a lighter color on the inside and you can see it when the hood is down. The navy blue does not have that problem. So, my only suggestion for improving this hoodie is to add a jersey lining to the hood to improve the appearance and keep lint off my head. Other than that, it's a great product.

My wife gave me one for Christmas last year and I liked it so much I asked for another one this year. She gave me another one of the exact same style number and I'm disappointed that the fabric is much thinner than last year. With the first one, I can run out to the garage or mailbox and not get chilled. With this recent one, the cold goes right through it. I might as well wear a shirt. I live in Michigan so I'm used to the cold weather and I know what to wear outside.

It's been a few years since I last purchased a hoodie/sweatshirt and the quality has definatly changed. The waste band is loose and it fits like one you would buy at a swap meet. It's just not up to carhartts old standards very disappointed.

This is my fifth carharrt pullover. I really wish you would offer high vis pullover again. I have a generic brand that does not match the quality.
